If you’re visiting in summer, you’ll be welcomed by the Catanzaro Jazz Festival which takes place in July. If you’re travelling during warmer months, a trip to the beach also makes for a fun day out with the family. The scenic beach of Caminia is just a 40-minute drive from Catanzaro and offers turquoise blue waters and sandy shores.
